Phoenix Books of Vermont, the indie bookstore with branches in Burlington, Essex, and Rutland, will host a discussion among Endpapers author Alexander Wolff and two others who have written family histories centered on an ancestor who wound up in the political crosshairs. Judy Polumbaum, who worked as a reporter in Rutland and Burlington, writes about her award-winning photographer father, Ted Polumbaum, in All Available Light. And Brett Dakin focuses on great uncle Lev Gleason, a pioneering comic-book publisher, in his American Daredevil.
