Yale Law School professor Stephen L. Carter, a widely read historian, memoirist and novelist, has named Endpapers one of the year’s 15 best nonfiction books. In making his choices, Carter writes, he devoted “special attention to books that taught me things I didn’t know. This has been an exceptional year for serious books; perhaps being locked down is good for creativity. Never have I had such trouble winnowing my list to fifteen.” You can read Carter’s full list, compiled for Bloomberg Opinion, here.
