Several weeks before the September 17 publication of Das Land meiner Väter, the German version of Endpapers as translated by Monika Köpfer and published by DuMont Buchverlag, author Alexander Wolff fielded questions from Christian von Zittwitz on behalf of BuchMarkt, the magazine of the German book industry. They discussed Wolff’s relocation to Germany to research the book, the most disturbing thing he found, and his impressions of German literary culture, among other topics. Read their exchange here (in German).
